Dr Vasilka Sancin

Dr Vasilka Sancin is Professor of Public International Law, Head of the Department of International Law, Director of the Institute for International Law and International Relations at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law. She was also a member of the UN Human Rights Committee (2019-2022). 

In the framework of the Guest Lecture Series on Current Issues in International Law and Global Security, Peace and Development, Dr Sancin delivered a guest seminar on “The Role of the United Nations in the Protection of Human Rights” on 5th October 2021.
