Student Accommodation Services

Students are responsible for arranging their own accommodation for each mobility stage of the programme. We will provide some guidance, but students should be proactive in looking for accommodation in advance of starting mobilities. Most partner universities have accommodation services where you can seek additional advice. See information below for each partner:

University of Glasgow

The university has agreements with some private accommodation providers who reserve rooms for our incoming Erasmus Mundus students. In 2019 these providers are listed below. Please note the rates change each year.

Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals relies on providers of university accommodation, such as with RESA Housing, who can offer you accommodation in purpose build residencies or with trusted landlords renting out rooms across the city of Barcelona. Another popular option is to rent rooms in apartments shared by students, and this can often be the most economic option. The city is relatively compact, and public transport is cheap and efficient so mobility is likely to be easy.

At University of Tartu the School of Law staff in Tallinn assist you with finding accommodation. Affordable accommodation can be found close to the School of Law in Tallinn which is not a large city and has also a well-developed transport system making most things easily accessible.

Leuphana University of Luneburg is a campus university equipped with various on-site student apartments. The LUL accommodation service supports you in finding a suitable room and several apartments are expressly reserved for international students. You could also find private housing in both cities, Lüneburg and Hamburg.

At Radboud University, accommodation for ILGSPD students is guaranteed by the university during their study in Nijmegen. Most Radboud students live in student dormitories and mansions. The large majority of the accommodation offered is mixed (i.e. men and women live in the same corridor and (if applicable) share the facilities). A few women-only corridors are offered as well. University accommodation for students with special needs/disabilities is equally available.

Université libre de Bruxelles offers a wide choice of accommodation in its own halls of residence and private halls of residence, either on one of its three campuses (Solbosch, La Plaine, Erasme) or off-campus. The Housing office provides students with assistance in their search for accommodation. Brussels also offers a variety of options in the private sector. The Solbosh campus is ideally located and well-connected to the University area; finding a short-term lease in the student neighbourhood is possible.
