Dr. Susan L. Karamanian is Dean of Hamad Bin Khalifa University College of Law. In the framework of the Guest Lecture Series on Current Issues in International Law and Global Security, Peace and Development, she delivered a guest seminar on “Arbitrators as Peacemakers?” on 28th September 2021.

Dr. Vasilka Sancin is Professor of Public International Law, Head of the Department of International Law, Director of the Institute for International Law and International Relations at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law. She was also a member of the UN Human Rights Committee (2019-2022). In the framework of the Guest Lecture Series on Current Issues in International Law and Global Security, Peace and Development, Dr. Sancin delivered a guest seminar on “The Role of the United Nations in the Protection of Human Rights” on 5th October 2021.

Dr. Giedre Jokubauskaite is Senior Lecturer in international law at the University of Glasgow.  In the framework of the Guest Lecture Series on Current Issues in International Law and Global Security, Peace and Development they delivered together a guest seminar on “COP26: Towards the ‘global environmental summit’ in Glasgow” on 19th October 2021.
