Lina Sophie Möller

Lina Sophie Möller is a researcher at the Institute of Public Law, Department 1 (European and International Law) at the University of Freiburg, specialising in human rights law.

Ms Möller was a visiting scholar at Radboud University Nijmegen from 19th to 27th October 2025.

My week as an ILGSPD Visiting Scholar at Radboud University’s European and International Law Department in Nijmegen was genuinely transformative for my research. The conversations I had with both professors and fellow PhD researchers were not only intellectually stimulating but also encouraged me to critically reassess where my own perspective had been shaped by assumptions rooted in German practice.

Working closely with Professor Jasper Krommendijk whose expertise aligns directly with my PhD project was especially enriching. His insights helped me refine my arguments and explore new angles. We also ended up translating our discussions into a blogpost published on Verfassungsblog.

Engaging with the broader community of scholars provided fresh motivation and reminded me how valuable it is to step outside one’s usual academic environment. I can only recommend it to any early-career researcher seeking to broaden their horizons.”
